The Role
We are seeking applications from Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our fabulous team in Toowoomba. Based in our workshop, this permanent ongoing position comes with competitive hourly rates, opportunities for further training and development and a solid base to launch your career
Our fleet is truly diverse; you will schedule and provide preventative and routine maintenance and attend breakdowns as required on a variety of heavy plant and equipment.
About You
You are a self-motivated individual, and possess the following qualifications/skills:
* Appropriate heavy diesel mechanical trade qualification (AUR or MEM), with a minimum 12 months post trade heavy diesel fitting experience.
* Experience with CAT equipment and systems;
* Sound ability in CAT SIS and ET;
* Current Driver's License;
* National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain);
* Ability to pass a full medical, including drug and alcohol test;
* Full work rights in Australia;
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail;
* · Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with stakeholders;
* · A proactive approach to identifying and resolving mechanical issues.
