What work will you do?
In this role, you will:
* Negotiate and draft a broad range of commercial and finance agreements, including loan, lease and security documentation
* Advise on vendor and international commercial arrangements
* Structure and document bespoke transactions, including non‑standard financing arrangements
* Work closely with credit and compliance teams to ensure transactions meet internal and regulatory requirementsAssist with disputes, insolvency and recoveries matters
* Maintain and improve standard form documentation and contract libraries
* Manage and instruct external legal counsel where required
What type of person will be successful?
* Admitted as a solicitor in Australia
* Strong experience in finance agreements, commercial contracts and PPSA
* Solid understanding of financing structures (loans, leases, hire purchase)
* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks including AML/CTF, privacy and consumer law
* Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
