About the Role:
We currently have a vacancy for a qualified and experienced Saw Doctor to join our team in Dardanup, Western Australia
Reporting to the Saw Shop Supervisor, this position is required to undertake saw doctoring tasks to support the manufacturing team in maximising the yield, productivity and efficiency of our production facility.
This position is offered on a full-time permanent basis, working 45 hours per week and includes dayshift and nightshift (1 week of nightshift every 4 weeks).
About you:
You will have relevant trade qualification and ideally, previous timber mill experience, but training will be provided on our unique equipment. You will also be looking for long-term career and aim for development opportunities. Additional requirements include:
* Trade qualification in Saw Technology
* Experience in High strain stellite tipped bandsaws
* Experience in Carbide tipped Circular saws
* Mill experience will be highly regarded
* Strong understanding of Levelling and Tensioning
* Strong work ethic
* Good communication skills
* Understand and demonstrate commitment to health and safety practices
* Previous experience working shiftwork would be beneficial
* Self-motivated and enjoy working as part of a high performing team
