The role
Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist – Join Bloom Well-being Location: Creswick, VIC (Less than 20 mins from Ballarat) Employment: Permanent Salaried Role | Negotiable FTE (Full-time preferred with monthly RDO) Salary: $108k – $132k Super 17.5% Leave Loading Benefits: PD Budget, Paid Study Leave, and comprehensive Wellbeing Policy Why Bloom? We are looking for an identity-affirming therapist who is passionate about neuro-affirming trauma therapy . If you want to do meaningful work within a small, supportive team that values sustainability over expansion, Bloom is the place for you. What's different? We've built a practice that respects the energy of the clinician as much as the needs of the client: Sustainable Caseloads: A maximum of 5 clients per day to prevent burnout. Sensory-Considered Space: Therapy rooms designed with dimmable lighting, temperature control, and multiple seating options. High-Level Support: Full administrative management (invoicing/scheduling) and paid assistive technology for case noting. Supervision & Reflection: Paid internal and external supervision (individual and group) within a team that values relational practice. The Role As a key member of our small, experienced team, you will: Provide therapy to client groups aligned with your specific interests and skills. Work strictly within a trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and identity-affirming framework. Collaborate in team days focused on connection, service development, and community engagement. Identity-affirming assessments and gender-affirming surgery support About You We are looking for a clinician who values reflective space and thrives in a connected team environment. Requirements: Qualified: Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, or Clinical Psychology Registrar. Registered: Essential Medicare registration and at least 2 years of therapeutic experience. Aligned: Already practicing from an identity-affirming lens (including trauma-informed, size-inclusive, neuro-affirming, and queer-affirming approaches). Highly Regarded: EMDR Training. Experience with complex trauma (sexual abuse, family violence, attachment). Familiarity with parts work and dissociation-informed practice.
