We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering expert tax consultancy, accountancy, and business advisory services to individuals and SMEs across Melbourne.
Job Description:
You will be working closely with the Managing Director and will have a broad exposure to business, tax, and advisory.
* Prepare financial statements for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, and SMSFs.
* Prepare BAS & FBT Returns and ensure all compliance aligns with accounting standards.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining strong and positive relationships.
* Manage WIP and ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree in a relevant field (Australia).
* CA or CPA qualified.
* 3–5 years' experience in public practice accounting.
* Strong autonomy, time management, and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage deadlines and oversee a team.
* Effective communicator with solid client–relationship skills.
* Xero experience essential.
