The role of the Clinical Psychologist is to provide expert clinical psychology services to vulnerable families and children at risk participating in the Family Preservation and Early Intervention program. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of interventions, including developmental cognitive, mental health, and diagnostic assessments, individual parent–child therapy sessions, play therapy interventions, as well as group work.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide trauma-informed clinical psychology services to vulnerable families and children at risk;

* Deliver individualized parent–child therapy sessions and play therapy interventions;
">
* Conduct developmental cognitive, mental health, and diagnostic assessments;
">
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and develop treatment plans;
">
* Collaborate with other service providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Requirements
">
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess:
">
">
* A Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology from an Australian Psychological Society (APS) accredited course;
">
* Full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
">
* Previous experience working with vulnerable families and children at risk from a trauma-informed approach;
">
* Knowledge of the Neuro-sequential Model of trauma-informed intervention;
">
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
">
* A commitment to ongoing professional development.
