Join the RVC Roads and Drainage team as a Multi Purpose Labourer. The primary purpose of this role is to provide a high level of service in the construction and maintenance of Council's infrastructure in the areas of roads, drainage, footpaths, signage and pavement markings in line with Council's delivery and operational plans.
Location: Casino, New South Wales, Australia.
Key Accountabilities
* Undertake general labouring duties in the construction, maintenance and repair of roads and drainage infrastructure, footpaths, signage and pavement markings.
* Read, interpret and set up Traffic Guidance Schemes, and assist with the provision of traffic control services to ensure the safety of all workers and members of the community.
* Read and interpret basic construction plans, set out works from reference points fixed by others and carry out ongoing checks of accuracy.
* Assist in repairing potholes and edge wear/breaks using bitumen patching techniques/products (crack sealing, minor bitumen sealing) in varying weather conditions and ensure that bitumen is cleaned from plant and equipment.
* Assist in the delivery of concrete works including the site preparation, pouring, placement and finishing of concrete.
* Use and maintain small plant and hand tools in a safe and effective manner.
* Contribute to a positive safety culture within the team by ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, legislation, specifications, project plans and any other documentation required for the successful delivery of works.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Construction Induction Certificate (WHS White Card).
* Class C Driver Licence.
* SafeWork accredited certificate for Traffic Controller.
* SafeWork accredited certificate for Implement Traffic Control Plans.
About the Role
Full time: 76‑hour fortnight.
Salary: $54,776 to $62,992 per annum + 12% super.
