Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other \"similar\" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: Provides professional leadership, governance, coordination and management of Social Work services within Bunbury and Community services across all clinical areas in accordance with the WACHS policies and guidelines. Manages Social Work team, under the Director Allied Health, at Bunbury Hospital and Community Services; coordinates duties and manages performance to ensure the delivery of efficient, effective and high-quality Social Work services. Drives clinical research, quality improvement and service development in relevant clinical areas. Lead the planning and implementation of strategic workforce initiatives and teaching, training and research opportunities.

It is Western Australia’s most popular tourist destination and has unique biodiversity and a rich natural environment. The Regional Health Service offers two (2) main health facilities at Bunbury and Busselton. The Health Service is also widely supported with a network of smaller hospitals and Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) sites at: Augusta, Boyup Brook, Bridgetown, Collie, Donnybrook, Harvey, Margaret River, Nannup, Northcliffe, Pemberton and Warren.
