Health and Wellbeing Professional - Schools Program
We are seeking a skilled Health and Wellbeing Professional to join our Schools Team in the Adelaide Hills.
About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to bring their expertise into a community-focused setting. As a Health and Wellbeing Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to students and staff across our partner schools.
You will be the face of healthcare within the school community, offering hands-on support, empathy, and expert care. Your role will involve triaging student presentations, administering medications, monitoring treatment plans, and promoting health, safety, and wellbeing within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Triage student presentations and provide appropriate care
* Administer medications and monitor treatment plans
* Support students with ongoing medical conditions
* Promote health, safety, and wellbeing within the school environment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a School Nursing environment or within an acute setting
* Ability to apply nursing care within the scope of the Enrolled Nurse as per AHPRA registration
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Organised and able to meet deadlines
* Ability to triage when required
Qualifications and Documents Required
To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and documents:
* Diploma of Nursing
* Current AHPRA registration
* National Police Clearance
* DHS Clearances (WWCC & NDIS)
* Manual Handling Certificate
* First Aid Certificate
* CPR Certificate
* Full SA Current Driver's Licence
