About the Role
A School Administration Officer reports to the Principal and assists with a range of school, classroom and office activities, including record keeping, bookkeeping, clerical duties, reception, operating and maintaining classroom and office equipment, purchasing, and preparing and maintaining stock and learning/resource materials.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in a range of school, classroom and office activities such as record keeping, bookkeeping, clerical duties, reception, operating and maintaining equipment, purchasing, and preparing and maintaining stock and learning/resource materials.
* Demonstrate suitability and ongoing compliance with the Children (Education and Care Services) National Law (NSW), Education and Care Services National Regulations (NSW), and NSW Department of Education policies and practices for public preschools.
* Perform tasks in office procedures, accounting procedures, word processing, operation of computers and/or classroom/office equipment, library procedures, hospitality and/or design and technology, and science.
* Work effectively with teachers and children.
* Commit to protecting and promoting the safety, wellbeing and rights of all children.
Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in managing administrative processes, compliance requirements and reporting obligations within a regulated environment, with the ability to prioritise tasks, maintain accurate records and consistently meet deadlines.
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and prepare accurate correspondence, records and documentation.

It is anticipated that the entry on duty date will be Day 1, Term 3, 20 July 2026.
