About the role
GCF Pty Ltd is seeking a driven and experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team in Nerang, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehousing and distribution operations.
What you'll be doing
* Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and delivering and shipping of goods
* Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and timely replenishment
* Implement and monitor warehouse processes and procedures to optimize productivity and efficiency
* Identify and resolve any operational issues or bottlenecks in a timely manner
* Collaborate with other departments, such as projects and sales teams
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
* Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a warehouse operations or logistics management role
* Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve operational excellence
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the organization
* Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and other relevant software
* Thorough understanding of warehousing best practices, including inventory management, picking/packing, and distribution
* Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management or a related field would be highly regarded
* MR Drivers License and Forklift license required
