Regional Sales Manager

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of Clinical Liaisons (Sales Representatives) across Queensland and South Australia, in implementing Indivior's product strategy within their assigned region. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for coaching and developing Clinical Liaison's in line with business objectives. The position leads activities in promotion and selling the Indivior brand portfolio of products to Health Care Professionals within their assigned region. This position is based in Sydney but will be expected to regularly travel to Queensland and South Australia.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Recruit, Lead, Coach and develop a team of Clinical Liaisons across their region to achieve financial targets
- Spend individual days in field, on a monthly basis, with each of your direct reports to provide ongoing coaching and mentoring
- Ensure sales tools are deployed effectively, including customer segmentation, prioritisation and ensure effective training and implementation of CRM tools and other planning and reporting tools to drive effective territory management by the sales team
- Lead sales relationships to position Indivior as the trusted partner in expanding treatment access for patients and quality of care
- Establish relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure value for customers
- Develop a strong business plan for the region with impactful and coordinated actions to drive higher customer level engagement
- Monitor the market to gather competitive intelligence on new products, strategies, tactics, and growth opportunities.
- Support the team to advance opportunities efficiently and with a sense of urgency through the sales cycle
- Analyse sales data for trends and identify opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with the National Sales Manager, Marketing and Medical to deliver internal state and cycle meetings
- Work closely with Medical, Integrity & Compliance and Regulatory to ensure compliance to governance requirements
- Establish relationships with a broad range of external stakeholders including GPs, hospital, pharmacies, addiction specialists, pain specialists, key account purchasing/tenders and listing committees and regional health authorities, and key opinion leaders (KOLs). The Regional Sales Manager also plays a key supportive role in managing policymakers, Government departments, reimbursement and regulatory agencies
- Manage key accounts, including correction facilities, in terms of listing, tender and negotiation strategies and trading terms
- Participate in internal strategic meetings
- Identify new growth opportunities for products; develop a strategic plan and business strategies for new revenue streams for existing product lines
- Project Manage new activities and opportunities
- Support the delivery of key local, national and regional clinical, policymaker and consumer meeting events
- Attend conference and educational meetings within region
WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Business
- Post graduate qualifications (such as MBA) desirable
- Sales Management experience preferably within Pharmaceuticals
- Experience coaching and developing high performance teams
- Knowledge within the field of drug addiction is desirable or sales or health related experience in a specialist niche pharmaceutical market segment (clinic, hospital, specialist target audiences)
- Experience working with KOLs and influencing government healthcare decision makers
- Experience within the corrections space is highly desirable
- Working knowledge of the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct and Code of Practice
