Job Description:
As a vital member of the Patient Services Department, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, clinicians, managers, and health funds regarding patient pre-admission, admission, discharge, billing, and debtors follow-up.
The key responsibilities include ensuring the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date information within the Patient Administration systems, coordinating patient admission processes, and communicating relevant Health Fund information to patients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the accuracy and currency of patient information within Patient Administration systems
* Coordinate patient admission processes, including financial and admission paperwork, and ensure efficient patient flow and experience
* Clearly communicate Health Fund information and associated financial considerations to patients and key stakeholders
* Liaise with clinical managers and pre-admissions managers to obtain required arrival times for the following day
* Participate in team environments, promoting a supportive atmosphere and contributing to effective communication with all customers and patients

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need proficient knowledge of the health industry and health funds, demonstrated clerical and computer skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
You must be able to work from Monday to Friday for various shifts between 6am to 5pm and commit to supporting our Mission and Values.

* Salary: $59,041 to $60,705 per annum (pro rata for part-time), plus 12% superannuation
