Drum Kit Instructor Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Drum Kit instructor to join our Performing Arts Department on a part-time, term-time basis.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to share your musical expertise, inspire young musicians, and contribute to a dynamic and growing Performing Arts program.
You will lead and conduct both Junior and Senior Drumlines, provide individual and group Drum Kit tuition, tutor and mentor students, prepare students for performances and exams, foster student engagement and enthusiasm for percussion and performance, and support the broader instrumental and ensemble program within the college.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Relevant music qualifications and strong practical experience
* Proven experience teaching in schools or youth music programs
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A student-centered, encouraging teaching approach
* The ability to work collaboratively within a creative, high-performing team
