About the role
Numurkah Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Dispensary Technician to join our team in Numurkah, VIC. This is a full-time role where you will play a key part in the smooth running of our busy pharmacy. As a Dispensary Technician, you will be responsible for assisting our pharmacists in the dispensing of medications, Webster packing and providing excellent customer service to our patients.
What you'll be doing
1. Receiving and processing prescription orders
2. Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring proper medication labelling
3. Assisting pharmacists with the preparation and verification of prescriptions
4. Providing exceptional customer service and answering patient inquiries
5. Restocking and organising the dispensary area to ensure efficient workflows
6. Adhering to all relevant pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines
7. Providing support to the pharmacy team as needed
What we're looking for
1. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
2. Proficient in the use of pharmacy software and computer systems
3. Strong communication and customer service skills
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
