About the role
We have a new opportunity for a casual Marina Attendant. This is a rare opportunity to work in a role that perfectly balances outdoor, hands-on marina duties with indoor guest service and administrative tasks. From welcoming vessels and supporting marina operations to delivering exceptional experiences for our guests, you’ll be at the heart of everything that makes our marina special. As a casual position, hours will vary to meet the operational demands of the marina.
As Marina Attendant you will be responsible for:
* Dockhand Duties: Welcome arriving vessels, guide guests to their assigned berths, and secure lines. Conduct daily dock walks and marina patrols, focusing on vessel inspections, infrastructure and safety checks, and monitoring vessel movements.
* Guest Services Duties: Deliver exceptional customer service to all marina guests, maintaining a friendly, professional, and positive demeanor. Manage fuel wharf and courtesy car bookings, and ensure clear and professional communication via telephone, written correspondence, and VHF radio.
To be considered for the position of Marina Attendant, you are required to have:
* Proven experience in a customer service role.
* Previous experience in a marina or similar environment is desirable.
* Experience in physically active, hands-on work.
* Open C Class Drivers License
* Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude.
