Working within an established treatment program, your role will be to support the delivery of researched backed treatment programs focused on behavioural change around addiction and mental health.

About the Role
Ideally you will be a proactive and engaging Registered Nurse who has a desire to support the team, and positive patient outcomes. Your excitement to facilitate health promotion, education and psycho-education for consumers, will motivate patients toward their treatment plan goals.
As always, it is integral that you have a high level of confidentiality and an understanding privacy of others.
You must be open to working a 4 week rotating roster of morning, afternoon and overnight shifts.
The roles main duties include:
* Assess and manage clinical client care needs
* Supervise client withdrawal and detox from alcohol and other drugs
* Manage the administration of medication
* Upkeep clinical notes and documentation in line with accreditation requirements
* Support general practice and psychiatric medical practitioners
* Providing support and educating patients/residents on recovery to help clients deal with difficulties and overcome dependencies
* Demonstrated skills to build rapport and engage patients into recovery
* Monitoring of mental and physical state throughout detoxification process
* Work within a multidisciplinary team with a willingness to learn and improve our services
About you – Essential Criteria
* A current AHPRA registration
* A current First Aid Certificate
* Computer and systems experience to update client records
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure/stress and meet demands
* Current and valid Driver's Licence
* Current and valid Police Check and Working with Children Check
