Role

The Commercial Director will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy, contributing to business development and the consolidation of relationships with current and prospective clients. The role involves identifying and anticipating customer needs and translating them into technological solutions in close collaboration with the R&D, Marketing, and Operations departments. The objective is to strengthen the company's leadership in the market, increasing penetration and fostering value co-creation with industrial partners.

Key Responsibilities And Activities


* Develop, implement, and monitor the commercial strategy at both national and international levels, aligned with the company's growth objectives.
* Directly manage strategic key accounts, identifying development opportunities and ensuring high standards of service.
* Anticipate market trends and customers' technological needs, proposing innovative and customized solutions.
* Work proactively with R&D, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure consistency between the technical offering and client expectations.
* Lead and support the commercial team—including Key Account Managers, Sales Representatives, and Customer Service (approx. 50 people)—fostering a culture focused on results, customer relationships, and innovation.
* Contribute to pricing strategy and the planning of promotional and communication activities.
* Analyze KPIs, sales performance, and market trends, proposing corrective actions when needed.

Key Qualifications
* Degree in technical, economic, or engineering disciplines; a Master's degree in Business or Management is considered a plus.
* Solid experience (10+ years) in commercial roles within high-tecnology driven B2B Market (e.g.Packaging, ingredients, Automation).
* Familiarity with complex, long-cycle projects and international stakeholders.
* Experience working in structured industrial environments, with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability.
* Strong entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to act decisively while ensuring alignment with the organization's strategy and values.
* Strategic vision combined with a strong customer and results orientation.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills with stakeholders at all levels.
* Aptitude for managing change and driving innovation.
* Fluency in English
