This full time position involves:
· Prepare, cook and serve food in accordance with menus
· Ensure high level of quality and presentation is achieved at all times
· Collaborate with the owner in developing the menu and creating new recipes
· Accept deliveries and checking invoices, weight and dates of product
· Train and support our kitchen employees to enable them to excel in their roles.
· Ensuring OH&S policies and procedures are followed by all staff.
· Work over a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
Other Tasks and Duties include:
Manage weekly staff rosters, assist with recruitment, menu planning and pricing, weekly stocktakes and ordering of stock, and generally overseeing the cafe functions and resolving any issues, reporting to the owners where necessary.
Qualifications/Skills
· Trade Qualification or 2 years Previous Experience in Similar Role
· RSA
· Food and safety certificate essential
· Be able to work weekends on a rotating roster
Salary : $68,000-$78,000pa
