The Senior Policy Officer in the Housing Growth and Market Development Team presents a unique and rewarding opportunity to leverage land use policy and Government investment in priority housing growth locations to support delivery of more social and affordable housing. This role works across Homes Victoria and key state government agencies to embed policies for social and affordable housing growth through planning, delivery and market development strategies for priority housing growth locations including precincts, activity centres and growth areas. As the Senior Policy Officer, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice and briefings to senior executives related to the housing market as well as policy and reform designed to grow social and affordable housing. The role is also responsible for contributing to Cabinet portfolio briefings across diverse subject areas. The role will allow you to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on priority housing development initiatives and use your land use, policy and housing market knowledge to identify and progress new social and affordable housing opportunities.
