About the Role
AECOM solves complex challenges with our remediation, restoration and geoscience services, tackling a broad array of contaminants and working cooperatively with diverse stakeholder groups. Working as part of our established Geoscience and Remediation Services (GRS) team, you will work with a team of environmental engineers, scientists, hydrogeologists and geologists, providing contaminated land assessments, environmental monitoring and remediation consulting on a wide range of projects, including oil and gas, mining, Department of Defence and public sector clients. AECOM’s environmental business is the largest in Australia. This means we can offer you the opportunity to be involved in some of the most complex projects in the industry. We offer local and national project opportunities.
How you’ll make a difference:
* Assist with fieldwork and data collection and processing across diverse environmental sites
* Support technical reporting for surface water and groundwater monitoring, contamination assessments, and remediation projects.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of environmental and technical experts.
* Travel to remote sites and balance time between fieldwork and office-based tasks.
Qualifications
* Undertaking a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree related to the role you are applying for.
* Be in your penultimate year or earlier of study at an Australian or New Zealand University.
* Able to commence work from mid-November 2025 to mid-February 2026 (Flexible).
* You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
