Job Title
Senior Sales and Account Management

Purpose of the Role
The
Senior Sales & Account Management
position is a hybrid role that combines Sales and Account Management responsibilities. The primary objective is to drive new customer acquisition while maintaining and growing relationships with existing Amadeus clients, ensuring sustainable growth within the Field Sales segment.

The role requires representing Amadeus at internal and industry events, including delivering presentations when necessary. Regular travel within the
Victoria region
and occasional
interstate and international travel
will be required.

The Primary Role Responsibilities Include

* Driving long term retention and IT revenue growth across the customer portfolio.
* Identifying and securing new IT revenue opportunities via the expanded Amadeus product portfolio
* Actively prospecting new business within the client and prospect portfolio base
* Achieving all specified and agreed key metrics and performance indicators

Specific Responsibilities

* Acquisition
* Execute sales activities across the Field Sales segment to acquire new customers in line with commercial principles of sustainable and profitable growth.
* Retention
* Manage account activities to ensure retention and effective management of existing customers, aligned with commercial principles.
* Development
* Drive business development initiatives with prospects and existing customers to increase revenue through new solutions and services.
* Create sales and account development plans to translate strategy into actionable customer engagements.
* Provide competitive intelligence and analyze market trends and competitor performance.
* Build and leverage a strong network of customers and industry contacts to gain market share.
* Sales Support
* Contribute to improving sales support processes, systems, and tools for effective execution of acquisition, retention, and development targets.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver sales activities aligned with Inside Sales objectives.
* Share knowledge and best practices across Commercial teams and the broader Travel Sellers Unit.
* Proactively use CRM to manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate data integrity and reporting.
* Compile and deliver bi-annual business performance reports for your portfolio.
* Maintain accurate pipeline data, including sales stages, expected signature, and migration dates.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration of new business and products.
* Account Management
* Develop and maintain structured sales plans for all customers in your portfolio.
* Conduct in-store process audits to identify new product and IT revenue opportunities.
* Achieve expected revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction levels.
* Attend and contribute to regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions.
* Maintain high functional knowledge of GDS and the full Amadeus product portfolio through self-learning and internal training.
* Share meaningful market intelligence gathered from customer interactions.
* Attend relevant conferences under your account portfolio.

Experience Required

* Proven experience in IT product and technology solutions sales.
* Strong background in business development or Sales within the relevant segment.
* Travel industry experience essential; prior Amadeus experience (as a front-line travel agent or in Customer Support, Training, or Sales) preferred.
* Demonstrated sales track record. Strong commercial acumen with negotiation experience and a customer-first mindset.
* Tertiary qualifications in sales or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Self-starter with proven ability to work independently.
* Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
* Clear, professional communication skills.
* Strategic and analytical thinker; collaborative team player.
