Palliative Care South East (PCSE) is a leading not-for-profit community palliative care service providing compassionate, specialist care and support to people living with a life-limiting illness and to their families and carers, across the City of Casey, City of Greater Dandenong and Shire of Cardinia.
As we celebrate 40 years of care, we are looking for an experienced and values-driven leader to join our Executive Team as General Manager Clinical Services (GMCS)
.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the GMCS provides expert professional and strategic leadership across all clinical services — including nursing, allied health, and supportive care.
This pivotal role will:
* Lead and empower a multidisciplinary team delivering safe, high-quality, and client-centred palliative care.
* Drive service innovation, workforce capability and clinical excellence through contemporary models of care.
* Ensure robust clinical governance, continuous quality improvement and accountability to national standards.
* Contribute to strategic planning and organisational development as a key member of the Executive Team.
* Represent PCSE externally and deputise for the CEO when required.
About You
You are a compassionate and collaborative clinical leader with a strong background in nursing, allied health, or another health discipline, ideally with postgraduate qualifications in health management, leadership, or palliative care.
You bring:
* Proven leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and clinical governance systems.
* A commitment to holistic, person-centred, and evidence-based care.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* A desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of clients, families, and the broader community.
