About The Role
Bribie Island State High School is seeking applications for a temporary Acting Head of Department - Technologies position.
Position Details
* Term 3, 2026: Full‐time temporary position.
* Term 4, 2026: Fractional position (0.4 FTE), working collaboratively with the substantive Head of Department as they transition back from family leave.
* Future Opportunities: The fractional position in Term 4 has the potential to extend into the future.
As The Head Of Department, You Will
* Lead the Technologies department, providing strategic direction and support to staff.
* Collaborate with the substantive Head of Department during Term 4 to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of leadership.
* Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and review within the Technologies faculty.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and achievement.
