Nightshift hours from 1830 to 0430 at 4 day weeks
Hours are paid at T1.5 for the first 3 and T2.0 thereafter
Duration: 3 month contract
About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled individual to assist with civil works for the Council's Traffic Network Services team. You will play a key role in ensuring strict adherence to WHS practices. Your responsibilities will include:
* Interpreting and working from site plans and drawings.
* Concreting/Formwork duties.
* Reporting to TNS Supervisors and Team Leaders.
* Assisting with the removal or replacement of traffic signal and communication pits containing bonded asbestos around electrical and fibre optic cables.
* Assisting with the installation of traffic signal footings.
* Conducting remediation works, including pit replacements and upgrades.
What You’ll Need to Excel:
* Pit & Pipe experience.
* Demonstrate leadership skills.
* Asbestos Removal Ticket.
* A minimum of a C-Class driver’s license (MR License highly advantageous).
* White Card.
* Civil construction experience.
