Manager, Health Information and Records Service - PFT - Silverwater & Olympic Park role at NSW Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network.
Role
Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) is seeking an experienced and motivated HIRS Manager (Health Information and Records Service Manager) to lead our Health Information and Records Service. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the strategic direction and daily operations of health records and medico-legal services across community, inpatient, and custodial health settings. You will drive the transition to electronic health records, champion best practice information governance, and serve as the Network's Privacy Contact Officer. This is a role to join a diverse and innovative team committed to improving patient outcomes and supporting high-quality, safe, and secure healthcare services within a complex environment.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategic direction and daily operations of health records and medico-legal services across community, inpatient, and custodial health settings.
Drive the transition to electronic health records and champion information governance best practices.
Act as the Network's Privacy Contact Officer.
Work to improve patient outcomes and support high-quality, safe, and secure healthcare services within a complex environment.
Salary & Benefits
Your salary is $127,150 - $144,444 + super. You'll also have access to salary packaging benefits, a fitness passport (if eligible), and ongoing training and education opportunities.
