West Core Drilling Pty Ltd is an independent surface diamond drilling company servicing the mining and exploration industry throughout WA.
The company is looking for a competent Maintenance Supervisor at their workshop facilities in Perth W.A.
Experienced working on drill rigs is a massive advantage .
Work in Perth for a great income, no need to work FIFO
Your objectives:
1. Working closely with Management and maintenance crews to manage field maintenance operations on drilling and auxiliary equipment
2. Organise and monitor maintenance schedules.
3. Actively provide guidance to the maintenance team through positive leadership.
4. Coordinating and organising day to day maintenance duties, for workshop and field operations.
5. Strong focus on time management to maximise operation efficiency.
6. Maintaining a strong communication link between the maintenance manager, workshop and field maintenance staff.
Key Duties:
* Preventative maintenance of plant and associated equipment.
* Prioritise and organise own work with the requirements of the work schedules.
* Coordinate with external parties and suppliers as required.
* Prioritise work plan and maintenance schedules.
* Ensure all assigned tasks are completed safely in accordance with quality requirements, company policy and all statutory requirements.
* Record services and repairs to maintain accurate records.
* Establish and maintain a strong communication relationship with the maintenance team, drill crews and West Core management.
* Participate in a cooperative manner to maximize performance of the maintenance workshop team.
Essential requirements for the position include:
* Heavy Duty Mechanical Qualification or equivalent
* A comprehensive understanding of hydraulic motors, systems and schematics.
* A firm understanding pneumatic systems.
* Current HR driver's license (or Ability to obtain one)
* Able to pass a pre-employment medical.
* Able to pass a drug and alcohol screen.
* Current National Police Clearance.
* Resume outlining work experience.
