Currently, they provide care to nearly 15,000 residents across 50 assets. The organization has recently launched a new chapter, refreshing its branding to reflect a bold, modern, and forward-thinking vision. Led by a passionate CEO and an engaged executive property team, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to creating proud communities where residents can live their best lives. The Head of Maintenance will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including property leadership, business unit leaders, and maintenance teams, to develop a transformational asset maintenance framework that ensures efficiency, consistency, and high performance, aligned with the organization's core values and resident needs. Key responsibilities include: Leading the review and streamlining of external contractor groups to enhance service delivery and cost control. Developing and implementing a strategic maintenance program for a multisite property portfolio. Engaging and influencing executive decision-makers and stakeholder groups to facilitate ongoing change. Motivating and upskilling operational staff without direct management responsibilities. Leading the organization’s largest transformation project in recent times as part of broader Asset Management strategy. Ideal candidates will have: Tertiary qualifications in project management, construction management, or related fields. Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing asset maintenance programs across multiple sites. Strong analytical skills to interpret large data sets and develop compelling business cases. Proven success in leading organizational transformation and embedding high-performance cultures, preferably within aged care or retirement living sectors. Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills. Qualifications demonstrating success in strategic asset management and change leadership are essential.
