About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Grinding Specialist QA/QC to join our Rail Network Maintenance team supporting the rail grinding operations. This role is critical in ensuring quality assurance and compliance with rail standards across the network.
Skills & experience
* Proven experience in quality assurance and track inspections (mandatory).
* Experience with rail grinding.
* Previous rail industry experience.
* Ability to pass a Category 1 Rail Medical.
* Strong reporting and documentation skills.
* Demonstrated experience using specialist rail measuring equipment.
Duties & responsibilities
* Conduct quality assurance checks and track inspections to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
* Perform accurate reporting and documentation of inspection results.
* Operate and maintain specialist rail measuring equipment for precision assessments.
* Collaborate with the rail grinding team to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
