Kakawa Chocolates are seeking a 2nd year apprentice Pastry Chef and Chocolatier for an immediate start. All training is conducted one to one and face to face in our open kitchen in Darlinghurst and second production kitchen in Woolloomooloo, great chance to develop and enhance chocolate skills and techniques and if you're interested in becoming a qualified Chocolatier.
Applicants must be Australian citizens with unrestricted work rights.
Candidates must either be currently enrolled in a pastry/patisserie apprenticeship programme or be willing to enrol after hiring.
Job duties include:
Confectionery making of fudges, caramels and marshmallows
Tempering chocolate, moulding and ganache making.
Ice-cream sandwich making
Cleaning and stocktake.
No work on Sundays and public holidays, staff discounts on products, uniforms supplied and no night work.
