Reporting to the Materiel Support Manager, in this new career opportunity as an Inventory Leader the experience you bring to this position will see you work proactively in collaboration with functional teams and defence force specialists. Engaging directly with Commonwealth representatives and RAN personnel, you will provide the vital support necessary to maintain our Collins Class Submarines.

A background in defence industry project management enhanced by knowledge in Naval or military management systems, technology, hardware and operational programs will be highly advantageous. In this position you will be entrusted with responsibility to capture, develop, plan and execute combat system upgrades and sustainment projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage inventory locations to optimise inventory holdings, procurement and repairs, ensuring the integrity of material control data and inventory management system data.
- Address complex problems and mitigate risks and issues that would otherwise cause delays and significant expenditure of resources.
- Lead material management planning and scheduling activities including delivery of a 5 year procurement and repair budget; coupled with the ability to support equipment End of Service Life mitigation activities.
- Manage procurement and repair delivery schedule to meet operational and budgeted financial commitments; with responsibility to deliver monthly financial forecast data for EAC tracking.
- Manage team members with a focus on employee engagement and development in their career with Raytheon as they work to deliver program objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**:

- Ability to multitask and complete high level of activity in times of peak demand where required;
- Previous experience and responsibility for improving processes, systems or products to enhance the performance of a work area; coupled with advanced understanding and ability to use software based inventory management systems.
- Comprehensive background and knowledge of warehousing, inventory, freight and distribution procedures and systems, coupled with experience of procurement and warehouse interactions and processes.
- Advanced knowledge and experience of key performance indicator measurement and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience and capability aligned to safety systems, safety standards and legislative frameworks to meet state and commonwealth requirements.
