As an RTO Advisor at Macmahon, your expertise in load and haul operations and training,coupled with your passion for developing new talent for the business and industry, will contribute to the safety and ongoing success across our surface and civil mining operations.
**Responsibilities**
- Partner with surface and civil leaders and site based training teams, providing training expertise and guidance across the business Identify training needs for site personnel
- Co-facilitate Macmahons world class dump truck training academy for new to industry employees Ensure Site Crew Trainers remain current and proficient on the operations they train/assess
- Deliver educational programs including the certificate III in resource industry and infrastructure training package
- Provide advice on the requirements of legislation, guidelines, codes of practice, standards
- Syndicate efforts with the health and safety department to conduct site-based training audits
- Maintain a high level of training and assessment documentation quality and conformance
- Identify and support mentors and line and review training progress
- Evaluate and report on all trainee progress across sites, mobilising to support where training is required
- Syndicate efforts with site-based training teams to support operational training for surface and civil mining equipment
- Actively promote Macmahon values and wining equation and participate in professional development activities
**Qualifications and attributes**
- Cert IV in Training & Assessing (or equivalent)
- Competent operating a variety of heavy machinery; dump truck, loader and ancillary equipment as a minimum
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with people at all levels of the business
- Strong organisation and planning skills with the ability to operate autonomously
