Intereach are looking for a Manager Education and Care to lead the delivery of several exciting new projects and the ongoing operations of our education and care teams.
In this rewarding role you will: Oversee the current Children's Services portfolio delivering high-quality services and programs across the Intereach footprint Lead the development of the service blueprint for growth of the Children's Services pillar of the Strategic Plan Manage the scoping, planning, business plan development and execution of service delivery Collaborate with a team of professionals, including educators, early childhood professionals, and healthcare providers, to design and implement innovative programs that promote the well-being and development of children.

This is a full-time position based in any of our offices.
The role is classified under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Award, with an annual starting salary of $129,210 plus superannuation and access to salary packaging benefits.
About You This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges of setting up and successfully operating the Early Childhood Centres and delivering successful and impactful programs which meet the diverse needs of all children participating in the programs.
Essential: University Degree in Early Education, Education or other relevant field or lesser formal qualification and extensive experience and currency in program management.
You should have a passion for working with children and a deep understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education and care.
Demonstrated ability to manage an operational budget, work collaboratively with finance team and meet KPI's and reporting requirements in relation to staffing, operational budgets, access to government subsidies and grants.
Demonstrated extensive experience in undertaking innovative service delivery in education and care for children in line with Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), My Time Our Place, and National Quality Standards (NQS), National Quality Framework and Regulations/Legislation High level experience in leading a team involved in service delivery to the community, strategic and business planning, and ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience in working with managers, staff and internal and external stakeholders (e.g. People and Culture, Dept. of Communities and Justice, Dept. of Education) to resolve high priority, and often sensitive and complex matters involving children and families.
Licences and Accreditations Required to meet fit and proper person requirements Hold a current cleared Working with Children Check (NSW and Vic) Current Drivers Licence Criminal Record Check is required (Intereach will organise and support with the completion of this, which will be facilitated by our chosen provider) Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma Management Certificates Certificate in accredited course 'CHCPRT025' Identify and report children and young people at risk or willingness to obtain this accreditation.
