About the role
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Vehicle Tradesperson to join our Mobile Maintenance Team.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining underground mobile mining equipment, including but not limited to loaders, haul trucks, graders, and shotcreters.
Working closely with the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you will ensure the fleet operates at peak efficiency, minimising downtime and maximising productivity in a dynamic underground environment.
Your expertise in diagnostics, hydraulics, welding, and routine servicing will be vital in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Roster: 7/7 or ***** (Day & Night Shift)
Location: Peak Mine - Cobar, NSW
Travel Options: Resident, DIDO or FIFO

Relocation Support: We offer relocation support of up to $10,000 for those wanting to live locally in Cobar.
DIDO: If you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site, you receive a travel allowance.
FIFO: From Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
Qualifications and experience
Trade Certificate – Heavy Diesel Fitter or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years' experience in underground hardrock mining.
Experience with underground mobile plant: CAT Loaders, ITS, Agi Trucks.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read pneumatic, electrical, & hydraulic schematics.
Strong commitment to safety.
