Executive Leadership Opportunity
The position of Executive Branch Manager for the Office for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs is currently available. This role involves providing high-level strategic advice to enhance the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing community relationships, providing leadership and guidance to ensure the success of the office in meeting its objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Aboriginal Affairs and must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level strategic advice to support the effective functioning of the office
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Ensure the implementation of policies and programs that benefit Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
Requirements:
- A strong background in Aboriginal Affairs
- Ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Strong leadership and management skills
Benefits:
This is a contracted position until June 2026, offering a competitive salary ranging from $288,060 to $298,258.
