Production Operator – Wantirna South, VIC
Full‐time position. You will support machine operations and quality control at our brick manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient and safe production runs. You will also participate in housekeeping, reporting and operational improvements across the site. Working Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with overtime until 4:00 pm on some days.
Responsibilities
* Report hazards, incidents and near misses in accordance with WHS&E protocols.
* Actively contribute to a safe work environment and follow all site safety procedures.
* Maintain high housekeeping standards across the factory.
* Store tools, equipment and consumables properly when not in use.
* Operate machinery and monitor performance to ensure optimal efficiency.
* Conduct quality checks and support quality improvement projects.
* Participate in customer complaint investigations and help implement corrective actions.
* Minimise product loss and suggest improvements to reduce waste.
* Ensure accurate reporting of daily production numbers.
* Complete pre‐start checklists and operator maintenance tasks.
* Participate in preventative maintenance programmes and team meetings.
Qualifications
* Experience in manufacturing or production operations.
* Strong awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
* Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
* Willingness to learn and grow.
* Forklift licence and First Aid certificate are desirable.
* Pre‐employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and background check required.
