Business Development Manager - VIC/SA/NZ
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and expand market share across Victoria, South Australia, and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in the heavy engineering sectors, including oil & gas, mining, and infrastructure.
* Gain product specification on key projects through strong engagement with industry stakeholders and demonstrate the superior value propositions of our products to win business from competitors.
* Foster strategic relationships with key end-users, specifiers, and distribution partners while managing the customer pipeline through CRM systems.
* Deliver high-level technical support to end-users, distributors, and internal teams while assisting in optimizing the performance of abrasive blasting and waterjet cutting applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 3-5 years of technical sales and/or business development experience.
* Proven experience in sales within the heavy engineering sectors, including oil & gas, mining, and/or infrastructure, along with expertise in managing and selling through distributor networks.
* A strategic thinker with a strong technical and commercial mindset, capable of working independently and willing to travel.
* The successful candidate must be based in Melbourne and have permanent work rights.
* Strong negotiation, relationship management, and influencing skills.
* Experience using CRM tools to manage sales pipelines and customer data.
