This role requires a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the road network, ensuring transport infrastructure assets function safely and continue to deliver their original intended function.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
* Undertaking regular routine maintenance activities
* Repairing and maintaining road furniture, debris removal, incident response, graffiti removal, facility servicing, vegetation control and vacant properties
* Providing asset inspections, defect logging, corridor management and maintenance recommendations
* Completing short duration and low complexity minor works as an extension of maintenance activities
To succeed in this position, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Able to work a rotating roster with varying start and finish times (days, nights, weekends) applicable penalty rates apply
* Availability to undertake on call arrangements
* Possession of relevant qualifications/licences is highly desirable including Truck Mounted Attenuator qualification, Traffic Management Implementation qualification, MR Drivers Licence, High risk Work Licence (forklift)
* Experience working on high-speed, high-volume roads
