Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and committed Health and Physical Education Teacher to join our dynamic team from Term 1, 2026.
This is more than a teaching role; it's a calling to nurture students academically, spiritually, and personally within a Christ-centred learning environment.
This is a fixed-term (12-month) role with the possibility of some science.
Selection Criteria
The selection criteria will include, but not be limited to, the following: -
* Articulation of Biblical Worldview in Education
* Curriculum Knowledge and Teaching Pedagogy
* Behaviour Management
* Contribution to growing sense of Christian Community
* Qualifications, experience, competencies, and Personal qualities.
Desirable
· Previous experience teaching Outdoor Education
* Experience in Christian Education.
* Willingness to support co-curricular or extra-curricular programs.
· Bronze Medallion or similar First Aid/Rescue certificate
· Must be an Australian citizen or hold a valid Australian work visa.
· Have an MR vehicle Licence
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum, using varied strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
· Maintain accurate student progress records and communicate updates to students and parents via emails and Parent-Teacher evenings.
· Implement effective classroom management to foster a positive learning environment.
· Support students in developing organisational and study skills.
· Participate in additional duties such as grounds duty, staff meetings, College functions, and House activities, contributing to the broader College community.
· Adhere to College policies, demonstrate care for students' spiritual, emotional, social, and academic growth, and perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
