Assistant Property Manager Western Sydney | Full-Time A leading property group is hiring a new Assistant Property Manager to join its team.
This is a newly created role within a small, close-knit and collaborative team, offering strong exposure, training, and long-term career progression.
This opportunity would suit someone currently working as an Assistant Property Manager or in Lease Administration, or a motivated early-career professional within a retail or commercial agency or institutional environment looking to step into an Assistant Property Manager role.
The Opportunity You will support the day-to-day management of a large-format retail portfolio of circa 3–4 assets across NSW, working closely with an experienced Asset Manager.
The role has a strong emphasis on learning and development, with hands-on involvement across financial management, tenant relations, reporting, and asset operations.
The position is based in Western Sydney, with: Weekly day travel to a Newcastle asset (travel reimbursed) One work-from-home day per week if desired Remaining days office-based in Auburn Key Responsibilities Review and maintain arrears reporting Develop and maintain strong tenant relationships Assist with monthly expense accruals and operating expenditure reviews Weekly review, coding, and approval of OPEX invoices against budgets (with supervision) Support property accounting and reporting functions Assist with monthly and annual reporting requirements Prepare and review Key Asset Monthly Management reports, including variance commentary Audit tenancy schedules against lease and deed documentation Assist with insurance, bank guarantee, and compliance audits Draft tenant correspondence and support lease administration tasks Respond to day-to-day tenant matters Assist with asset presentation, operation, tenant renewals, market reviews, budgeting, and reforecasting About You You are organised, detail-oriented, and eager to build a long-term career in retail property management.

Key requirements include: Tertiary qualification Real Estate Certificate of Registration or Agent's Licence Minimum 1 year of property management or lease administration experience (retail or commercial preferred) Strong Excel and Word skills MRI experience highly regarded Excellent communication and report writing skills Current driver's licence and own vehicle Why This Role?
