ResponsibilitiesDrive revenue growth and ensure compliance through the sales process across education accounts.Understand the unique needs of education customers and tailor commercial solutions to support long-term success.Lead internal and external sales motions through commercial constructs and deal-making, optimising investment and customisation.Identify and maximise business opportunities with new offerings like Microsoft Copilot, ensuring successful execution.Collaborate with Sales and Finance stakeholders to define negotiation strategies and align on pricing, terms, and conditions.Act as the lead negotiator, preparing compelling proposals, articulating value, and addressing customer concerns.Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across education institutions, partners, and internal teams to support customer outcomes and Microsoft's revenue goals.QualificationsRequired Qualifications7+ years of sales and negotiation experience, including experience as a Commercial Executive with a strong understanding of Microsoft's Education Contracting models.Or Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Law, Marketing, Finance, Communication, Education or related field AND 5+ years of sales and negotiation experience or related work experiences.Or equivalent experience.Business-level proficiency in Japanese AND English, including written and verbal fluency.Preferred QualificationsStrong understanding of and ability to address the unique challenges faced by Education K-12, Public Sector and Nonprofit organizations through partner-led engagements.9+ years of sales and negotiation experience.Or Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree AND 6+ years of relevant experience.Ideally with basic business proficiency in additional languages like Mandarin or Korean.Additional DetailsEmployment type: Full-timeSeniority level: Not ApplicableIndustries: Software DevelopmentEqual OpportunityMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
