We're seeking a high-level experienced Project Manager with extensive, recent experience managing large-scale industrial and commercial projects. As a Senior Project Manager at QDC, you will be responsible for driving successful projects outcomes and leading a team of exceptional construction professionals.
This role entails upholding QDC's high standards of client focussed solutions while overseeing and managing site supervision, safety, subcontractor engagement,financials, procurement, and construction programs. You will have a pivotal role in overseeing every aspect of the project, from design and project planning to execution.
About The Role:
Managing all aspects of project planning and construction including design, schedule of works, procurement, contract admin, financials, safety and stakeholder management
Proven ability to manage projects with complexity, including brownfields live operating environments, refrigeration, NPI (Non-Process Infrastructure) and regional based logistics.
Overseeing and driving the completion of works by applying dynamic innovative solutions to remove barriers to the team and project success.
Managing total project cost to maximise profitable outcomes and deliver cost effective and clever solutions to our clients in the D & C partnership.
Creating and leading the safety culture for the project, ensuring actions and behaviours demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.
Ensuring adherence engineering standards, quality benchmarks and environmental considerations.
Regularly evaluating project objectives to ensure continual improvement, and alignment with changing project and client priorities.
What You Need To Excel In The Role
Experience in the design and construct build model with the desire to proactively address any situation that may arise during a project. A leadership style that prioritises collaboration, communication, accountability and innovative problem-solving.
Minimum of 10 years of successful project management experience in overseeing D&C projects up to $75M.
Large scale Industrial and Commercial projects in the last 5 years
Proficient knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and regulations.
Demonstrated strong leadership in safety management.
Proven track record in effective relationship management.
Ability to make balanced decisions on risk and reward.
Qualification in engineering, construction and/or project management, or equivalent field.
