Uzit Wardrobes WA, a leading manufacturer of high-quality custom wardrobes, is seeking a skilled Wood Machinist or Cabinet Maker to join our dedicated team in Balcatta, Western Australia. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the production of our premium cabinetry products.
What you'll be doing
Operating a panel saw full time.
Operating an edge bander sometimes.
Cutting and edging material so it is ready for wardrobe and cabinet assembly.
Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to produce components accurately and efficiently.
Performing quality checks and making necessary adjustments to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
Collaborating with the production team to optimize workflows and improve productivity.
Maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols.
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Wood Machinist or Cabinet Maker, with a strong understanding of wood-working machinery and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
A valid forklift licence would be highly regarded.
