The Opportunity: As a heavy machinery mechanic, you will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on a Kenworth Truck fleet equipped with Cummins X15 engines. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this role will see you ensuring peak mechanical performance and enhancing the longevity and reliability of the fleet. Duties: Maintenance repairs on heavy vehicles, including oil changes, brake checks, and ensuring all systems are functioning smoothly. Troubleshoot and Diagnose, mechanical fault finding, ensuring quick and efficient repairs. Overhaul on components such as engines, brakes, transmissions, hydraulics, and cooling systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Safety Compliance, with manufacturer specifications and safe work procedures.
