Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong cloud architecture skills, hands-on experience with Azure services, and the ability to support scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, configure, and deploy cloud infrastructure using Azure services (VMs, VNETs, Storage, App Services, AKS, ACR, Functions, etc.).
* Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
* Implement scalable and highly available cloud architectures.
Security & Compliance
* Configure Azure security tools (Azure AD, Defender for Cloud, NSGs, Firewalls, Key Vault).
* Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
* Implement identity and access management (RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access).
Automation & DevOps
* Automate provisioning and deployments using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
* Build CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
* Manage configuration management using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Monitoring & Optimization
* Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
* Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and reliability.
* Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
Maintenance & Support
* Perform upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance.
* Support disaster recovery and backup strategies (ASR, Azure Backup).
* Provide technical guidance to development and operations teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* 5–7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or system administration.
* Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure services and architecture.
* Hands‑on experience with IaC tools: Terraform, ARM, Bicep.
* Proficiency in scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
* Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar CI/CD platforms.
* Solid understanding of networking: VNETs, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, DNS.
* Knowledge of containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS).
* Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
