Glencore employs over 145,000 people, operating 150 mining and processing sites, oil production assets and agricultural facilities in over 35 countries.The RoleThe successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who will be supporting the Engineering department to develop practical solutions to various plant improvements and specialised Mechanical repairs that aid the safe production of nickel and cobalt.You will be responsible for:Work collaboratively and effectively with asset owners in the identification, prevention and troubleshooting of plant and process problems to ensure maximum availability.Supporting the project team as an owner’s Mechanical engineering advisor.Assisting in providing technical governance and support to various aspects of MMO Operations.Supporting maintenance, maintenance engineering and reliability teams with Technical and Engineering Support.Conducting Fitness for Service (FFS) assessments for Pipes, Tanks and Pressure Vessels.Ensure work output complies with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.About YouThis role would suit a team player who is motivated to strive in their career within a complex multifaceted plant environment.
