Rockhampton is our bustling hub, home to our main offices, the administration of the Mental Health Act, 2016, and our top‐notch acute adult inpatient facilities. We also have a cozy Adult Step‐Up Step‐Down facility in Gladstone and an Adult Community Care Unit right here in Rockhampton.
Our dedicated Adult Community Service Team is on the ground in Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast, providing personalised support to adults facing complex mental health challenges. Whether it's through outpatient visits, home visits, assessments, therapy, or case management, we're here to help you on your recovery journey. We work hand‐in‐hand with hospitals, primary health providers, community organisations, and private partners to reduce symptoms and foster hope, healing, and resilience.
About the role
As our Administrative Support Superstar, you will provide high‐level, confidential support to our Service Director, ensuring the wheels of our leadership team turn seamlessly. Your day‐to‐day will include managing a busy office, acting as the friendly face and first point of contact for important calls and emails, and being a master organiser. You will prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, follow up on actions and outcomes, liaise with internal teams and external partners, and provide backup support when Directors are out or busy.
Qualifications
* Proficient at managing busy schedules and commitments for Directors, with excellent skills in administrative support systems, customer service, and records management.
* Tech‐savvy with intermediate to advanced skills in word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, HR systems, and records management tools.
* Excellent communicator, able to craft complex, accurate, and professional correspondence with ease.
* Independent and self‐motivated, excelling at working autonomously when Directors are away, with strong prioritisation and planning skills.
* Passionate about continuous improvement, innovation, and adopting best practices to make work better for everyone.
What we offer
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $8,382 p.m. is comprised of an hourly rate between $39.98 – $44.46 p.h., a 12.75% employer superannuation contribution, and 17.5% leave loading.
