Phillip Riley is proud to be partnering with an Australian owned renewable energy company whose mandate is to identify innovative investment opportunities within the renewable energy and storage sector.
In order to achieve their strategic goals, our client is looking to hire a General Manager, Enterprise Risk and Compliance to design and implement a best in class ERM Framework
**The role**:
In this leadership role you will ensure enterprise wide risk and compliance oversight to enable the effective assessment and management of risk whilst meeting all of their regulatory obligations.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- The development and implementation of an Enterprise Risk Management framework.
- Assisting business units to build out their risk mitigation and response strategies.
- Create and promote a positive risk management culture through champions and education.
- Provide guidance, leadership, and support for your team and all internal and external stakeholders.
**Required experience**:
To succeed within this role, you will need:
- Advanced experience in enterprise risk management systems, particularly the scoping and implementation on "greenfield" sites within the energy/renewable energy markets.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and the ability to prioritize and influence multiple projects with varied deadlines.
- A deep understanding of building out, implementing, and maintaining a risk management framework and its underlying methodologies.
- Proficiency in risk and compliance management tools and best practices.
- Strong leadership skills and experience coaching executive leadership on compliance and risk.
