About the Opportunity
We are expanding our Auditing Team and are on the lookout for experienced Senior Auditors to join us in permanent, remote roles. Work from the comfort of your home with the possibility of occasional onsite client visits.
The Senior Auditor role is responsible for providing timely and accurate auditing services to iMedX clients, including the auditing of diagnosis and procedures of hospital episodes in line with the International Classification of Diseases and Australian Classification of Health Interventions.
What You'll Bring to iMedX
To thrive in this role, you'll have:
A clinical auditor who is a leader in their field
7 years of private/public hospital auditing including at a Tertiary level
Experienced in various auditing practices, guidelines and requirements e.g. quality and compliance, optimisation, hospital acquired complications, target audits
Current and comprehensive knowledge of ACS /NCCH and current certification in 13th edition
Proven track record of record optimisation across public or private hospitals
Completion of Certificate of Achievement Clinical Coding Auditor is an advantage
Familiar with national, state and territory coding guidelines in Australia
Understand private health fund contract requirements
Competent in learning/using patient administration systems and medical record formats e.g. paper, hybrid, scanned, electronic
