Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective quality management systems to ensure product safety and high-quality standards are consistently met.
* Maintain awareness of production processes across various sites to identify areas for improvement and optimize supply chain efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with relevant food safety regulations, customer specifications, and internal quality policies.
* Lead a team of quality assurance professionals, providing training and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Conduct thorough audits to assess compliance and identify opportunities for improvement in quality and safety practices.
* Analyze customer complaints and non-conformances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
* Proven experience in quality management within the food industry, including knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., BRCGS, HACCP, GMP, SQF, ISO).
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
